SACRAMENTO, Calif. - William Woods University's Dustin Russell set the men's program's school record and qualified for the Boston Marathon in the 2024 NAIA Marathon Classic Sunday, placing 19th out of 49 NAIA runners at 2:36:47 (5:59 mile pace). On the women's side, the Owls shipped two competitors to Boston, with Crystal Ruden finishing 17th out of 46 at 3:17:39 (7:33) and Tara Lowe 20th at 3:22:33 (7:44).
