Bland, a Waynesville, Mo. native, started and appeared in all of the Owls four contests in December. She averaged 16.5 points per game, the most on the team in the month. She collected 7.5 rebounds per game and shot 58.5 percent from the floor. On, January 1st, Bland was named AMC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her performance over the week of December 25-31.
