The William Woods University athletics department is committed to the highest standard of ethical conduct, performing successfully in the classroom and developing dominating athletes who contribute to a tradition of excellence.
We strive for excellence not only on the field of competition, but also to create a well-rounded individual.
Our drive is to educate. To provide a positive environment in which to learn, live, grow, practice and compete.
Our goal is to provide a cooperative and competitive environment. To demonstrate excellence in athletics as part of a larger commitment to academic success.
We teach life-lessons; build character, moral development and self-discipline; and prepare champions for life.
Our student-athletes become leaders, thrive in areas other than athletics, grow from their mistakes, never stop learning, push forward and create a winning culture.
