Houston qualified for NAIA Nationals at the AMC Indoor Championships when she 3305 points in the pentathlon. She won the 60-meter hurdles at the AMC Championships with a time of 9.27. Besides winning the hurdles, Houston also won the high jump where she went 1.63 meters (5-4 ¼) for the victory.
