Whitneigh Drown, a freshman from West Plains, Mo., earned her first trip to nationals this season finishing 6th overall at the 2018 AMC Championships running a 19:56.7 race. At her first ever NAIA National Championship race, she finished 205th overall with a time of 19:49.0 which beat her personal best by 2.4 seconds. Drown was also named AMC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week this season as well as being named All-AMC.
