FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University women's golf team finished out their home two-day WWU Spring Invitational on Tuesday, April 2. Maria Zrodowska won the Invitational with a total score of 150. 
 
The Owls entered day two tied for first but ultimately fell to Columbia College by three points. The Owls shot 642 on the two days, shooting 66 over par.
 
Zrodowska shot 77 on day two, closing out the 36 holes with a 150. She shot a birdie on hole two, 11 pars and six bogeys.
 
Lucy Matthews tied for sixth place with a 160, shooting 79 in the second round. Shot two better than day one with one birdie, nine pars and eight bogeys.
 
Krystal Burgtorf secured ninth place with a 162. She shot an 81 both days. She recorded a birdie on the front nine and on the back nine with seven pars, seven bogeys and two double bogeys.
 
Paige Hawkins tied for 17^thwith a 170.  She shot an 84 on day two, two better than day one. She recorded a birdie on a par three, seven pars, seven bogeys and three double bogeys. 
 
Kelsey Moreland shot an 86 on day two to end with a 172. She placed 21^stwith nine pars, five bogeys and four double + bogeys.
 
Jennah Schell competed as an individual and tied for 25^th. She shot an 86 in the second round, knocking four strokes off from day one. She recorded one birdie on the front nine with seven pars, six bogeys and four double + bogeys. 
 
Next on the Owls schedule is the two-day Washington U. Spring Invitational in St. Louis, Mo. Day one is set for Saturday, April 6.
