FULTON, Mo. – The no. 22 William Woods University men's tennis team took care of business closing their regular season with a 5-1 victory over Ottawa University Monday afternoon. This win moves the Owls to 13-3 on the season.
 
The Owls were unable to take doubles point winning only at no. 3 court. OU won at no. 1 and no. 2 courts.
 
In singles, Patrick Shelepov defeated the no. 40 in the Oracle/ITA National Singles, Claudio Quinones, in no. 1 court.
 
The Owls grabbed wins at no. 2, no. 3, no. 4, and no. 5 matches to secure the overall win against OU.
 
The no. 11 Owls return to action Thursday, April 22, for the American Midwest/Heart of America Unaffiliated Tournament at the Plaza Tennis Center in Kansas City. The matches are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
