BOLIVAR, Mo. – The William Woods University women's golf team is tied for 11
th place following day one of the Lady Panther Invitational.
The Owls are shooting a 333 following round one. NCAA Division II Christian Brothers University is leading the way with a 311.
Maria Zrodowska sits in a four-way tie for second place after shooting four over par. She shot one over par on the front nine with a birdie on hole four's par four and a double bogey on hole seven's par four. On the back nine, she finished with six pars and three bogeys.
Paige Hawkins shot 10 over for an 82, sitting in a four-way tie for 37
th. She shot one birdie on hole 17's par three, 10 pars, three bogeys and four double bogeys.
Krystal Burgtorf shot 12 over for an 84, sitting in a seven-way tie for 50
th. She shot eight pars, eight bogeys and two double bogeys.
Maria Ortiz Rozo shot a 91. She finished with a birdie, four pars, seven bogeys, and six double+ bogeys.
Jennah Schell shot 21 over. She finished the round with three birdies, two pars, seven bogeys and six double+ bogeys.
The Owls had three golfers playing as individuals.
