COLUMBIA, Mo. – The William Woods University women's golf team sits in fifth at the CC Cougar Classic following day one of the tournament with a 350. 
 
Jennah Schell and Maria Ortiz Rozo are leading the Owls following the first-round. They sit in a four-way tie at third, after shooting nine-over par with an 81.
 
Coming in third for the Ows was Alissa Olson. She sits at the 27^th place after she shot 19-over par 91.
 
Hope Tuttle sits in a two-way tie for 35^th. She shot 25-over par with a 97 score in the first round.
 
Allyson Hollrah rounds out the Owls. She sits in the 37^th spot with a total score of 98.
 
The Owls return for round two of CC Cougar Classic on Tuesday morning.
