HOLT'S SUMMIT, Mo. - With Alissa Olson leading the way, William Woods clawed back 15 strokes on day two against NCAA Division II Lincoln University at the Railwood Open, but could not catch the Blue Tigers, finishing second on the team leaderboard. Olson's two-day card of 150 (77-73; +6) was good enough to earn a tie for second place on the individual leaderboard, but after a scorecard playoff to settle the three-way logjam, Olson came up just shy of the trophies. Maria Ortiz Rozo joined Olson in the top 10, finishing with a 36-hole total of 158 (78-80; +14).

There was a fair bit of shuffling after the opening day, as the top three on the individual leaderboard all tumbled out of medalist contention on day two. Olson and Lincoln's Marsya Nazri fired second-round 73s to climb three spots, leapfrogging Lincoln's Divya Gunasegar, Nyah Singh and Elliot Hull. Crowder College's Cierra Tunley posted an even par 72 to join the tie at second.

Allyson Hollrah and Cheyanne Willis also improved their day one scores, climbing two and four spots respectively on the individual leaderboard to help Woods hit a second-round 322.

The Owls close out the regular season at the Missouri Valley College Invitational, with 9 a.m. shotgun starts on April 15 and 16.
