BOONVILLE, Mo. - Alissa Olson medaled with a sixth-place finish in the 38-competitor field for William Woods women's golf, as the Owls finished fifth out of six teams in the CMU Fall Invitational, which took place Monday and Tuesday at Hail Ridge Golf Course.

Olson shot consistently in the two-round invitational, posting a 12-over 83 in Round 1 and 82 in Round 2 for a competition total of 23-over 165. She birdied a hole in each round.

Woods notched a team score of 166-over 734 (367, 367). Following Olson, the Owls' Kennedy Dickerson carded a 177 (90, 87), Allyson Hollrah a 180 (87, 93) and Navy Setzer a 212 (107, 105); Haley Baskett withdrew from the event.

After taking a break from competition next week, William Woods competes in the Virginia McCoy Invitational, hosted by Park University, from Oct. 7-8 at The National Golf Club of Kansas City in Parkville.
