Owls Secure 2nd in Home Invitational

Fulton, MO – William Woods women's golf team showed well in the William Woods Invitational on Monday and Tuesday and showed up well as they placed second in their home tournament.

The Columbia Cougars would take home first place in this invitational behind a strong performance from Ellie Soderholm after going +3 in the invitational.

The Owls would build off their momentum from the CMU invitational, as they finished +66 on the day with Pilar Ariaudo leading the charge for the Owls, finishing the invitational +7. The Owls were also driven by a personal best from senior Haley Baskett, who recorded at 78 on day 1 to put Woods in a good place for day two.

The Owls are back on the links October 6th and 7th as they head to Alton, Illinois, for the Missouri Baptist Invitational.
