Mason McCaleb enters his first year as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Owls' cross country and track and field teams.
McCaleb participated in track and field at Columbia College where he threw the weight, shot put, discus and hammer. While competing in the throws, he tallied 16 All-Conference performances including two weight throw, two discus and a shot put conference champion titles. Along with these performances, he qualified for the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships in the weight throw and the NAIA National Outdoor Championships in the hammer and discus.
He received a Bachelor of Marketing and Sports Management from Columbia College while being part of the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team in 2019. Along with this, he received the AMC Champion of Character award twice over his four-year career.
He is currently pursuing his Masters in Business Administration.
