Had an average score of 71.60 in 11 tournaments last season ... Won six tournaments on the year ... Finished in 12th place at Nationals, scoring an even-par 216 (75-72-69) ... Named to the NAIA All-Tournament team ... Named to the NAIA All-America first team ... Became first WWU golfer to be named to the All-Nicklaus team ... Earned CoSIDA Academic All-America first team honors

While at William Woods
Taylor had a historic freshman year for the Owls as he was William Woods first ever recipient of the Phil Mickelson Award, which is giving to the most outstanding freshman in all of the NAIA… To go along with that prestigious award he was named a first team NAIA All-American, was the AMC Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year, also was selected to the All-AMC team… Taylor broke the school record for a 72-hole tournament at the 61st Annual NAIA Men’s Golf National Championships. He shot a total score of 292 (76-73-68-75; +4) to finish in a tie for eight at the championships… He finished in the top 20 in all ten events; captured three tournament wins… Won his first two tournaments as an Owl at the Show Me Summer Shootout and the Missouri Intercollegiate Tournament, he would add another victory at the Siena College Homewood Suites Invitational.
