Keith DeMint was promoted to Associate Director of Intercollegiate Athletics in March 2023 after serving as the Assistant Director of Intercollegiate Athletics during the summer of 2018. DeMint oversees compliance, eligibility, and academic monitoring for the department; in addition to game day management, supervisor of the athletic work study program and Name, Image, and Likeness education.
Prior to becoming the Assistant Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, DeMint served as the Assistant Men's and Women's Cross Country/Track and Field coach for four years. While coaching the Owls in the sprints, hurdles, and jumps, he helped guide the teams to seven American Midwest Conference (AMC) Championships. During this time, he had the opportunity to coach 42 AMC champions, 24 NAIA national qualifiers, and seven NAIA All-Americans.
DeMint is a 2012 graduate from Baker University with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration, where he competed four seasons for the Wildcats Cross Country/Track and Field teams. During his collegiate campaign, DeMint competed in the 110m and 400m hurdles, along with helping guide BU to four Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) Championships. He also helped earn the first Triple Crown Award in school history by winning an HAAC Championship in Cross Country, Indoor Track and Field and Outdoor Track and Field all in the same year.
The Sabetha, Kansas native, received his Master of Education in Sport Management from Wichita State University in 2013 and Master of Business Administration from William Woods University in 2020.
