(HANNIBAL, Mo., Nov. 9)--The William Woods University volleyball team lost 3-0 at Hannibal-LaGrange University Tuesday night. The Owls lost 25-20, 25-19 and 25-22 in the Quarterfinals of the American Midwest Conference Postseason Tournament.

Sophomore Alicia Green (Midlothian, Texas) led the Owls with nine kills. Senior Brianna Rodriguez (Camdenton, Mo.) added eight kills in the loss.

Sophomore Amanda Henley (Jefferson City, Mo.) had a team-high 14 digs in the WWU loss. Sophomore Emily Nolte (Higginsville, Mo.) and freshman Sarah Wehmeyer (Carrollton, Texas) each had 15 assists for the Owls.

William Woods ends the 2010 season 16-20.
