Owls Fall in Championship Game
(GREENVILLE, Ill., Dec. 4)-- The William Woods University men's basketball team lost 88-72 in the championship game of the Greenville College Tournament on Saturday. The Owls lost to host Greenville College to fall to 2-9 on the season.

WWU was led in scoring by junior Caleb Parry (Rolla, Mo.) with 18 points. Sophomore Kelsey Bardell (Shape, Belgium) added 11 points in the loss. He also had a team-high six assists for William Woods. The Owls were led in rebounding by junior Adam Otto (Lake Ozark, Mo.) with nine.

Bardell and Otto were named to the All-Tournament Team.

William Woods will return to action on December 11. The Owls will travel to St. Louis Christian College for a 3 pm tip-off.


Woods Wins at Greenville Tournament
(GREENVILLE, Ill., Dec. 3)--The William Woods University men's basketball team defeated Lindenwood University-Belleville 65-55 in the opening round of the Greenville College Tournament Friday evening. The Owls improve to 2-8 on the season.

Sophomore Logan Decker (Kansas City, Mo.) led the Owls with 18 points. Sophomore Kelsey Bardell (Shape, Belgium) added 13 points for WWU in the win. Junior Robert Williams (St. Louis, Mo.) recorded 10 points in the victory. Junior Adam Otto (Lake Ozark, Mo.) had a team-high 10 rebounds for William Woods.

WWU will return to action on December 4 in the Greenville Tournament. The Owls will play Greenville College in the championship game at 3 pm.
