(ST. LOUIS, Mo., Sept. 15)--The William Woods University volleyball team defeated Harris-Stowe State University in St. Louis, Mo., on Wednesday. The Owls defeated the Hornets 25-12, 25-11, 25-11.

Freshman Jacquelyn Neuner (Jefferson City, Mo.) led the Owls with five kills. Sophomore Emily Nolte recorded a team-high 17 assists in the win. Senior Brianna Rodriguez (Camdenton, Mo.) had three blocks in the win.

WWU (5-3, 1-1) will return to action on September 18. They will play two matches at the McKendree University Tri-Match in Lebanon, Ill.
