(Point Lookout, Mo., Sept. 3)--The William Woods University volleyball team opened the 2010 season with a pair of victories at the College of the Ozarks Tournament in Point Lookout, Mo.

In the first match of the day, the Owls defeated Central Methodist University 3-0. WWU won 25-13, 25-7 and 25-21. In the final match of the day, the Owls defeated John Brown University (Ark.) 3-1. WWU won 21-25, 25-17, 25-22 and 25-21.

William Woods (2-0) will play two matches on Saturday. The Owls play Southern Nazarene University (Okla.) at 1 p.m., and host College of the Ozarks at 3 p.m.
