The William Woods University volleyball team won an American Midwest Conference match over Stephens College Wednesday night in Anderson Arena.  The Owls defeated the Stars 25-19, 25-23 and 25-11.  WWU improves to 10-12 on the year and 4-5 in the AMC.
 
Alicia Green led the Owls with 12 kills.  Lauren Fleming and Kristen Bauer each had eight kills in the victory.  Bailey Peterson recorded a match-high 37 assists.  Amanda Henley led the Owls with 23 digs.
 
Stephens falls to 7-13 on the season and 3-5 in league play.
 
The Owls return to action October 7.  WWU will travel to Missouri Valley College for a 7 pm match.
