The William Woods University volleyball team dropped a five-set thriller today to Missouri Valley College.  The Owls lost in Marshall, Mo., 25-22, 14-25, 24-26, 25-22 and 10-15.

Emily Nolte led the Owls with 23 digs in the loss.  Amanda Henley added 16 digs for the Owls.  Alicia Green recorded a team-high 17 kills.  Bailey Peterson led the WWU offense with 34 assists.

William Woods falls to 10-13 on the season.

The Owls return to action October 14.  The Owls travel to Hannibal, Mo.  They will compete in the HL-G Tournament.
