The William Woods University men's soccer team will host American Midwest Conference rival Williams Baptist College this afternoon on Firley Field. Kick-off is scheduled for 3 pm. WWU enters today's match 4-1 on the year.

The Owls are coming off a 5-0 victory at Iowa Wesleyan College Saturday afternoon. J.P. Parra recorded three goals for the second straight match in the win.
Marcelo Carreiro and
Luca Stroeter also added goals in the win.
Paulo Conelian,
Ruben Ramirez,
Luis Percovich and Carreiro all had assists for the Owls.
Parra was named this week's AMC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Parra has now won the award in back-to-back weeks. He scored six goals in two matches last week, and has 12 on the season.
Williams Baptist enters today's match 3-1 on the season. Today is the AMC opener for the Eagles. WBC has won its last three matches, including a 5-3 win over Central Baptist College on September 9.
The Owls and Eagles met once last season. WWU defeated Williams Baptist 2-1 in overtime on October 30 in Walnut Ridge, Ark. William Woods leads the all-time series 11-0.
WWU will return to action on Wednesday. The Owls travel to Central Methodist University in Fayette, Mo. Kick-off is scheduled for 7 pm.
