The William Woods University volleyball team cruised to an American Midwest Conference win Tuesday night.  The Owls defeated Harris-Stowe State University 3-0 in St. Louis, Mo.  William Woods improves to 6-7 on the season and 2-0 in the AMC.
 
The Owls defeated the Hornets 25-7, 25-7 and 25-9.
 
Alicia Green (Midlothian, Texas) had seven kills for the Owls in the win.  Abbie O'Mara (Saint Peters, Mo.) recorded 12 digs for WWU.  Sarah Wehmeyer (Carrollton, Texas) tallied 30 assists in the victory.

WWU returns to action September 15.  They Owls travel to Columbia, Mo., to take on sixth-ranked Columbia College.  The AMC match is scheduled for a 7 pm start.
