The William Woods University volleyball team is in action tonight. The Owls travel to sixth-ranked Columbia College for an American Midwest Conference match-up. First serve is scheduled for 7 pm. WWU enters tonight's match 6-7 on the year and 2-0 in league play.
William Woods is coming off a 3-0 victory at Harris-Stowe on Tuesday. The Owls defeated the Hornets 25-7, 25-7 and 25-9.
Alicia Green (Midlothian, Texas) had seven kills for the Owls in the win.
Abbie O'Mara (Saint Peters, Mo.) recorded 12 digs for WWU.
Sarah Wehmeyer (Carrollton, Texas) tallied 30 assists in the victory.
Columbia enters tonight's match 8-2 on the season and 2-0 in conference play. The Cougars took both matches from the Owls last season. CC won 3-0 in Columbia, Mo., on September 30th. They won 3-0 in Fulton, Mo., on October 29. Columbia leads the all-time series 46-25-1.
