The William Woods University volleyball team will open its 2011 home schedule tonight in Anderson Arena. The Owls host American Midwest Conference rival Harris-Stowe State University. First-serve is scheduled for 7 pm.

William Woods enters tonight's match 6-8 on the season and 2-1 in the American Midwest Conference. The Owls are coming off a loss to sixth-ranked Columbia College on September 15th.
Kristen Bauer (St. Charles, Mo.) and
Lauren Fleming (Granbury, Texas) each had seven kills for WWU.
Amanda Henley (Jefferson City, Mo.) led the Owls with 11 digs.
Harris-Stowe enters tonight's match 0-9 on the season and 0-3 in league play. The Hornets are coming off a loss to Park University on September 17.
The Owls and Hornets met twice last season. William Woods won both meetings in straight sets. WWU leads the all-time series between the two schools 51-0.
