The Owls are coming off a sweep of Harris-Stowe State University Monday night. The Owls won 25-5, 25-4 and 25-11.
Lauren Fleming (Granbury, Texas) led the Owls with eight kills.
Kristen Bauer (Saint Charles, Mo.) added five kills for the Owls in the win.
Alicia Green (Midlothian, Texas) recorded four kills and two blocks.
Sarah Wehmeyer (Carrollton, Texas) led the WWU offense with 32 assists.
Emily Nolte (Higginsville, Mo.) tallied four service aces in the win. William Woods enters tonight's match 7-8 on the season and 3-1 in the AMC.
Missouri Baptist enters tonight's match 14-1 on the year and 4-0 in league play. The Spartans are coming off a three-set victory over Hannibal-LaGrange University Monday night. The only loss of the season for the Spartans came to top-ranked University of Texas-Brownsville.
The Owls and Spartans met twice last season. MBU defeated the Owls 3-1 in Fulton, Mo., on November 28, and 3-1 in St. Louis, Mo., on October 18. Missouri Baptist leads the all-time series between the two schools 35-25.
The Owls return to action September 27. WWU will travel to AMC rival Park University. First-serve is scheduled for 7 pm in Parkville, Mo.
