The William Woods University volleyball team dropped an American Midwest Conference match Tuesday evening.  The Owls lost 3-0 at Park University by scores of 25-12, 25-18 and 25-17.  William Woods falls to 7-10 on the season and 3-3 in the AMC.
 
Lauren Fleming (Granbury, Texas) led the Owls with nine kills in the loss.  Kristen Bauer (St. Charles, Mo.) added eight kills for the Owls.  Fleming and Melanie Bonk (Hampshire, Ill.) each had three blocks for WWU.  Baily Peterson (Cedarburg, Wis.) recorded a team-high 22 assists.
 
Park improves to 11-8 on the season and 3-3 in league play.
 
The Owls return to action September 29.  The Owls play Central Methodist University and Westminster College in a tri-match.  WWU plays at 6 pm and 8 pm on the campus of Westminster College in Fulton, Mo.
