The William Woods University volleyball team won a pair of matches today at the Westminster College Tri-Match. The Owls defeated Central Methodist University 25-14, 25-12 and 29-27.
Alicia Green (Midlothian, Texas) led the Owls with 13 kills.
Amanda Henley (Jefferson City, Mo.) had a team-high 11 digs.
Baily Peterson (Cedarburg, Wis.) led the offense with 38 assists.
The Owls defeated Westminster College 18-25, 25-14, 25-19 and 25-17.
Lauren Fleming (Granbury, Texas) and
Kristen Bauer (St. Charles, Mo.) each had 11 kills in the win. Peterson recorded 35 assists for the Owls. Henley added 13 digs in the victory.

WWU improves to 9-10 on the season. The Owls return to action October 3 at American Midwest Conference rival Williams Baptist College. The Owls and Eagles will play a pair of AMC matches beginning at 3 pm in Walnut Ridge, Ark.
