Box Score WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. -- The William Woods University volleyball team collected its fifth straight win on Saturday afternoon, as they defeated Williams Baptist College 3-1 (27-25, 23-25, 25-16, 25-20).
William Woods (8-9, 3-0 AMC) got a trio of double-digit kill performances this afternoon, as
Kristen Bauer led the way 14 kills. It was the sixth consecutive game that the St. Charles, Mo., native has collected double-figure kills.
Emily Becker followed Bauer's total with 13, while freshman
Stephanie Davis her first double-digit kill game with 10.
The Owls continued its impressive defense season, as they collected 99 digs. It was the five straight match that WWU has collected over 80 digs.
Abbie O'Mara, who came into the game ranked second in the nation in total digs, collected a team-high 26 digs.

Sara Stevenson collected her 10th double-double on the year with her 44-assist and 19-dig performance. The Belleville, Ill., native has now posted a double-double in her fifth straight contest.
The win keeps the Owls perfect AMC record intact, as they have defeated Benedictine University at Springfield, Lyon College, and Williams Baptist.
William Woods returns to action on Tuesday night as they return to Anderson Arena to face-off with Evangel University. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
