FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University women's soccer team improves to 3-1-2 in American Midwest Conference (AMC) play Sunday evening, as the team defeated Stephens College 6-0.

The Owls (4-5-2; 3-1-2AMC) put on a completely dominating display at Firley Field, in a game that saw five different players score a goal, as WWU amassed 29 shots on the night.

Junior,
Sarah Krispin got William Woods on the board in the 15
th minute by lacing the ball in the upper corner of the goal, giving the Owls an early lead 1-0.

Shortly after,
Rachel Meyer and
Haley Pipes connected with teammate
Jordan McNamara, extending the Owls lead 2-0 at the 18
th minute mark. Less than a minute later, McNamara added her second goal of the night, giving WWU a 3-0 advantage and pushing her total to eight goals on the season.

The Owls offensive didn't stop there, while
Mackenzie Cork and
Jaclyn Zilch handed out their first assists of the season, while they connected with junior,
Annie Graber, making the lead 4-0 in the Owls favor.

The Stars would keep WWU scoreless the rest of the half, despite being outshot 21 to one.

In the final frame of the match-up it was more Owls offense, as Cork collected her second assist of the night, connecting with
Rachel Meyer, who headed a ball past SC goaltender.

Senior,
Amy Faus would get into the action in the 56
th minute, as she recorded her first goal of the season and securing the Owls a 6-0 defeat against the Stars.

WWU was just as dominate on the defensive side of the ball as they were on offense. The Owls held Stephens College to just five shots on the night. Goalkeeper,
Ashley Parisi, played all 90:00 minutes to collect her second shutout of the season and tallied three saves.

Offensively, the Owls were lead by Meyer, who recorded one goal, five shots and one assist. Leading scorer, McNamara added two goals and three shots, while
Jamie Palermo, Pipes and Faus all contributed three shots apiece.

"I am very pleased with the outcome today," said head coach
Randy Hall. "The elements of performing in mud and the ladies abilities to skill keep their feet and only give up a few good shooting opportunities was impressive to watch."

Hall added, "I really appreciated how many service opportunities we created in both halves."

It will be a short break for the Owls, as the team returns to action Tuesday afternoon, on the road against Hannibal-LaGrange College. Kick-off set for 3:00 p.m.
