FULTON, Mo. -- The William Woods University volleyball team returns to American Midwest Conference (AMC) action on Thursday night when they host St. Louis College of Pharmacy at Anderson Arena. First serve up at 7 p.m.
About the Owls
- The Owls' next four matches will be held at home in Anderson Arena, three of which are AMC play.
- The Owls enter the match with a 15-9 overall record and a 5-1 AMC record. WWU dropped its first AMC game of the season on Tuesday night to Lindenwood-Belleville, 3-1
- William Woods moved up to seventh in the nation in digs on the season. The Owls have recorded 1,653 digs. Leading the way for the Owls is

- The Owls have also climbed to ninth in kills (1,133), ninth in assists (1,031), and 18th in digs per set.

Brittney Engelbrecht continues to move up in ranks as she is now sitting at third in the nation in assists (875). In last night's match against Lindenwood-Belleville, Engelbrecht dished out her 3,500th career assists. She now sits in second place on the career all-time assists list at WWU
- The Owls have 142 services aces on the season. The 142 aces are 27th best in the NAIA.
About the Eutectics
- The Eutectics enter the match with a 1-10 overall record and a 0-6 record in AMC play.
- The Eutectics roster a fairly young team, three of their 12 athletes are upperclassmen and the majority of the remaining are freshman.
- The Eutectics have collected 318 kills, 305 assists, and 25 aces.
- Sophomore Amy Rotella leads the Eutectics with 73 kills on the season, putting up 13 kills against both Stephens and Blackburn College.
- The lone victory for St. Louis Pharmacy came on September 14th when they defeated Blackburn College, 3-1.
