FULTON, Mo. - The William Woods University Men's Basketball team hosts Haskell Indian Nations University, on Tuesday, November 22 for their first home opener of the 2016-2017 season. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
ABOUT THE OWLS
- The Owls enter the contest with an overall record of 4-3 and an AMC record of 1-1. Last week the Owls defeated Lyon College, 78-72, and falling to Central Baptist, 97-69
- As a team, the Owls are 13th in the nation in total steals with 58, 18th in total rebounds with 269, and 24th in three point field goals made with 52

Shannon James leads the Owls in three categories. He is averaging 15.57 points per game, has 18 assists, and 12 steals on the season.

Klayton Kuschel is another Owl leading in more than one category. The 6-8 senior has 47 rebounds and has collected four blocks.
- Alec Mulvhill leads the Owls in three pointers made with 18, ranking him 18th in the nation for three point field goals made.
- WWU is making 7.42 three-pointers per game, which is the 48th in the NAIA

- Haskell enters the contest with an overall record of 1-7, their last win against Ottawa University, 87-72
- Senior Tsalidi Sequoyah leads Haskell in points, rebounds and blocks. He is averaging 14.13 points per game, has a total of 70 rebounds, and has collected four blocks on the season.
- Bryon Elledge leads Haskell in assists with 29 which ranks him 38th in the nation.
- Zach Bruns leads in steals with 15, and as a team they have collected 61 steals on the season ranking 18th in the nation.
- As a team, Haskell is 22nd in assists with 125, 39th in steals averaging 7.625 per game, and 42nd in blocks with 20.

The Owls go on the road for an exhibition match against Southwest Baptist University on November 28th before returning back home playing back to back AMC contests. They will play Missouri Baptist on December 1 at 7:30 p.m. and December 4 against Harris-Stowe at 3 p.m.
