COLUMBIA, Mo. —The William Woods University Men's Soccer team begins their postseason play against Columbia College in American Midwest Conference Quarterfinal action on Saturday November 5th at 3 p.m. The two teams compete to continue their postseason to AMC Semifinals on Tuesday November 8th.

LAST MEETING
- On September 17th, the two teams faced each other on Columbia's home field, where the Owls fell, 2-1
- Zachary Felz and Michael Mayberry both scored for the Cougars at 38:30 as well as 55:07
- Rodrigo Alves was the solo scorer at 58:35
- The Cougars outshot the Owls 11 to 7, in the contest and a 5 to 3 shot on goal
 
ABOUT THE OWLS
- The Owls finish their regular season with an overall record of 12-6-0 to earn the sixth seed in the AMC Tournament
- Rodrigo Alves is ranked top 50 in seven offensive categories. He is 4th in total game winning goals, seventh in game winning goals per game, 19th in total goals, 24th in goals per game, 29th in total points, 42nd in points per game, and 46th in shots on goal per game
- As a team, the Owls are ranked 13th in total shutouts (9), 17th in shutouts per game (.5), and 39th in shots on goal per game (8.610)
- Lenny Louis-Jacques leads the Owls with seven assists in the regular season play, teammate Jesse Jordan following with six assists
- Rodrigo Alves leads the Owls in goals with 15, three of those goals were against St. Louis Pharmacy. The three goals against St. Louis Pharmacy was his only multi-goal game of the season.
- For his efforts last week, Rodrigo Alves was named the AMC Offensive Player of the Week. HE scored five goals on the week. His 15 goals this season led the American Midwest Conference.
- Conor Cable leads the Owls in saves with 52 in the regular season, earning him a 0.840 goals against average

ABOUT THE COUGARS
- The Cougars finish their regular season play with an overall record of 9-6-2
- In the last game for Columbia, they were defeated 1-0 by Lyon College. The loss dropped the Cougars to the third seed in the AMC Tournament.
- Mitchell Conning is ranked top 50 in three offensive categories. He is 8th in assists per game, 14th in total assists, and 50th in points per game
- As a team, the Cougars are top 40 in five categories. They are 17th in total assists, 18th in assists per game, 36th in goals per game and total goals, and are 39th in shots per game
- Mitchell Conning leads the Cougars in both goals with seven as well as assists with 10 in the regular season
