Men's Basketball Takes On Harris-Stowe Sunday

FULTON, Mo. - The William Woods University Men's Basketball team continues their season at home on Sunday December, 4 at 3 p.m. as they host Harris- Stowe State University in an American Midwest Conference contest.  
 
ABOUT THE OWLS
- The Owls enter the contest with an overall record of 6-3 and an AMC record of 2-1
- WWU is coming off a win over Missouri Baptist, 78-70, on Thursday night at Anderson Arena
Klayton Kuschel continues to dominate with a total of 69 rebounds, averaging 7.67 rebounds per game and has five blocks on the season
Trey Mitchell leads the Owls in points per game averaging 16.8 points per game. He scored a season-high 25 points scored against Missouri Baptist on December 1st
- On December 1st, Jonny Woolf scored a season-high 22 points, on 8-of-13 shooting, collected nine rebounds in the Owls victory over Missouri Baptist
- As a whole, the Owls are ranked 15th in steals (75), 31st in assists (133), and 27th in steals per game (8.333)
Alec Mulvihill ranks 17th in the nation in three-point field goal percentage as he is shooting 51.4 percent from behind the arc
 
ABOUT THE HORNETS
- The Hornets enter Anderson Arena with an overall record of 2-5 and an AMC record of 0-3
- On December 1st the Hornets were defeated by Columbia College, 85-63. Harris-Stowe will face Lincoln on Saturday December 3rd prior to coming to Anderson Arena.
- Jalen Fletcher leads the Hornets and is second in the AMC conference in points per game averaging 20.43 points ranking him 19th in the nation. Fletcher also leads in rebounds with 49, averaging 7 per game
- Julian Clarkson leads the Hornets in assists with 30, averaging 4.29 per game and is also leading in steals with two per game
- Malik Wineglass has 47 rebounds on the season and is 29th in the nation in blocks with 10 blocks
 
LAST YEARS MEETINGS
Last season the Owls and Hornets met twice during the regular season. William Woods came away with the victory in both of its contests last season.
