Game Flow
William Woods looked as if they were going to strike early in the contest, as Rodrigo Alves fired a shot that went high. A few minutes after, Anthony Moscatello had the best chance to score in the first half for the Owls. He took a shot and had the goalie beat but the shot was just wide of the goal.

After Moscatello's shot went a hair wide, Ottawa countered and switched the field. Erasmo Torres took the first shot for the Braves but the shot went wide. A few minutes later, Jose Ventura put a shot on goal and Jon Moore Jr. recorded the save.

After Ventura's shot that more saved neither team had a good opportunity to score again in the half as the game went scoreless into halftime.

William Woods offense came out quick in the second half, as they had three shots on goal in the first six minutes of the second half. Rodrigo Alves, Brett Hodges and Bowers all had shots on goal but Edward Maya recorded a save on each of them.

Alves continued to attack as he fired a shot that went high about ten minutes later in the half. The Owls continued to control the ball and after a corner kick by Hodges, the Braves attempted to clear the ball, however, the ball ended up in Bowers possession and Bowers beat Maya for the first goal of the game.

Ottawa looked to answer back four minutes later as Cody Peterson fired a shot at Moore Jr., but he made the save keeping the Owls ahead, 1-0.

Bowers continued to attack on the offensive end, as he had three shot attempts late in the game. With just over four minutes left in the game, Bowers fired a shot on goal which was saved but Maya did not control the rebound and the ball went back to Bowers. He looked to have flicked the ball over the goalies had but Maya made a diving save to keep the Braves down one, 1-0.

Ottawa had once last chance to score with one minute and three seconds left in the contest as Peterson fired a shot on goal but Moore Jr. Made the save to record his first shutout of the season and the Owls, fourth. The Owls came away with a 1-0 victory.
