FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University men's soccer team hosts Freed-Hardeman University on Saturday, October 21st for Senior Day. The Owls will honor its seniors prior to kickoff against the Lions. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.

- The Owls are currently 11-2-3 overall and are 8-0-1 in the American Midwest Conference
- WWU are tied for first place with No. 17 Columbia in the AMC. Both teams have a record of 8-0-1 and 25 points in the AMC

About the Lions
- The Lions are currently 3-9 overall and are 2-6 in the AMC
- Freed-Hardeman sits tied for ninth place in the AMC. They have six points and are currently two points out of the eighth and final AMC Tournament spot
- Daniel Peinado and George Achard are tied in goals scored with four goals scored apiece
- On the season, the Lions have taken 182 shots while limiting its opponents to 166
- Freed-Hardeman has played four different goalkeepers this season. Jeremiah Bailey leads the Lions in minutes with 477 on the season. Bailey is allowing 2.83 goals per game and has made 24 saves on the season
- George Achard has a team-high 10 points on the season. Besides scoring four goals, he has two assists and leads the team in shots with 37 and 21 shots on goal. Achard has two of the three game-winning-goals for the Lions this season
What's Next
The Owls wrap up their regular season when they travel to Parkville, Missouri to take on the Pirates of Park University on October 25, kickoff set for 7 p.m. Following the Park contest, the Owls will wait and see whom they play in the first round of the AMC Tournament, which starts on November 4.Â
