FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University volleyball team closes out its American Midwest Conference play on Wednesday, November 1st when they host No. 9 Park University at Anderson Arena. First Serve is set for 7 p.m.

- WWU enters the contest with a record of 24-7 and 9-2 in the AMC
- The Owls are coming off a loss to Missouri Valley on Saturday. The Vikings defeated the Owls, 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-18)
- William Woods enters the contest as the seventh ranked team in the NAIA in blocks and blocks per set. WWU has recorded 266.5 blocks and are averaging 2.56 blocks per game
- Kira Krebill ranks 14th in the nation in blocks per game averaging 1.2 and is 21st in blocks with 115
- Brittney Engelbrecht leads the Owls with 1003 assists on the season, which is 38th best in the NAIA
- On the season, the Owls have a hitting percentage of .217, which is the 35th best mark in the NAIA
- Jessica Jensen ranks 44th in the nation in digs and digs per set. She has recorded 522 digs and 5.02 digs per set
- Leading the way for the Owls in kills is Tory Wiley. Wiley has recorded 263 kills on the season
- WWU has recorded 138 aces on the season. Leading the Owls is Engelbrecht who has 26 aces on the season
- The last win for the Owls against the Pirates came in 2011 when the Owls defeated Park in five sets
 
About the Pirates
- Park enters the contest with the Owls with a record of 25-3 and 10-1 in the AMC
- The Pirates have won its last two contests. Park defeated Harris-Stowe 3-0 (25-13, 25-11, 25-12) in its last game
- Park comes into the contest with a hitting percentage of .286 on the year, which is the fifth best in the nation
- Nada Meaward ranks third in the NAIA in Kills per set as she is averaging 4.5 kills per set this season
- Meaward also ranks 22nd in hitting percentage of .330 and kills with 387 on the season
- Danna Gomes ranks fifth in the nation in assists per game. She is averaging 11.24 assists against per set
