FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University men's soccer team returns to Firley Field on Tuesday, October 10th when they host No. 21 Columbia College in the American Midwest Conference Game of the Week. The Owls and Cougars are set to kickoff at 7 p.m.

About the Owls
- The Owls enter the contest with a 9-2-2 overall record and 6-0-0 in the AMC
- WWU is coming off a 6-0 win at Saint Louis College of Pharmacy (MO) on Saturday. In the contest, the Owls outshot the Eutectics 29-2.
- The Owls are have currently won eight straight matches
- William Woods ranks seventh in the nation in shutouts with seven on the season
- Leading the Owls with seven shutouts is
Conor Cable, who is ranked ninth in the NAIA in goals against average with a .640 average. He also leads the Owls in saves with 33
- During the season, Cable also earned honors of "Central Dairy Athlete of the Month" and "AMC Player of the Week."
- In offense,
Rodrigo Alves ranks 30 in the division for shots per game with averaging 4.27 shots per game. Alves leads the Owls in goals with eight, shots with 47, and shots on goal with 24.

- The Cougars enter the contest with a record of 10-2 overall and 7-0 in the AMC
- Columbia College is coming off 3-0 win against Midland University (Neb.)
- The Cougars have a win streak of nine games and are ranked number 21 in the Men's Soccer Coaches Top 25 poll
- The last loss for the Cougars came on September 2nd when they were defeated by Missouri Valley, 1-0, in double overtime
- The Cougars currently rank number 11 in the NAIA in total shutouts with 6
- Nicolau Neto ranks second in the nation in goals against per game with an average of .330
- Columbia has scored 29 goals on the season while only allowing seven. Joey Koetting leads the Cougars with five goals scored on the season
