Women's Basketball Hosts College of the Ozarks on Wednesday

FULTON, Mo. - The William Woods University Women's Basketball team gears up to host their first home game of the 2017-18 season when they play against College of the Ozarks on Wednesday, November 8th at Anderson Arena at 7 p.m.
 
About the Owls
- The Owls enter their first home match with an overall record of 2-1
- The are coming off a victories over defeating Culver-Stockton, 73-56, and Mount Mercy, 85-69, at the Cougar Classic
- The Owls are shooting 42.1 percent this season from the floor
- Peyton Greenlee, leads the Owls shooting, 51.1 percent from the floor
- Greenlee leads the Owls in steals with ten, which is 13th best in the nation, and has a 19th in the nation in scoring with 52 points
- Bailey Rollins leads the Owls in three-pointers in as she has hit three on the season
- Jasmine Brown leads the Owls in rebounds with 22, nine offensive and 13 defensive rebounds on the season
- The Owls have a total of 6 blocks on the season, with Brown leading the Owls with four blocks, ranking her 13th in the nation
- Kaycee Gerald ranks eighth in the nation in assists with 16
 
About the Bobcats
- The Bobcats enter the match with a perfect season, 4-0
- The Bobcats have beat the last three of their four opponents by 20 or more points
- The Bobcats are ranked third in the NAIA Division II in assist with 82
- Shelby Roberts leads the squad with 19 assists on the season
- Kelsie Cleeton leads the Bobcats with 16 steals and 47 rebounds, also giving her the number one ranking in NAIA Division II
- College of the Ozarks are averaging 92.5 points per game this season and they are only allowing teams to score 60.5 points per game
- The Bobcats are shooting 46.1 percent from the floor on the season

The Owls will travel to Lamoni, Iowa to take on the Yellow Jackets of Graceland University on Saturday November 11th. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
