BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – The William Woods University men's soccer team fell to No. 18 Olivet Nazarene University, 3-0, on Friday evening at Snowbarger Park.
The Owls were outshot by the Tigers, 25-10, in the contest.
Conor Cable recorded a game-high nine saves in the contest.
Rodrigo Alves led the Owls with three shots in the match.

Logan Christopher and Alves each had one shot on goal in the game.
WWU returns to action on Sunday, September 3rd when they play in Joliet, Illinois against the University of Saint Francis. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
Game Flow
The Tigers came out and in the seventh minutes into the contest scored the first goal of the contest. Matheus Guimaraes took a pass from Marcus Wollak making it 1-0. Wallak dribbled in and sent a cross across that Guimaraes scored on.
The game remained 1-0 until the Owls had a good scoring chance with nine minutes remaining in the first half.
Logan Christopher sent a header on goal but Chris Taborn made the save. Olivet Nazarene took a 1-0 lead into halftime.
Six minutes into the second half, the Owls
Rodrigo Alves put a header on goal that was saved. Tumi Moshobane of Olivet Nazarene put a shot on goal 12 minutes later that
Conor Cable saved.
The Tigers added to its lead with 17 minutes remaining in the match. Jurren van der Gun took a pass from Clay Selby putting the Tigers ahead 2-0. Ten minutes later the lead was 3-0 as Henock-Berhanu added his first goal of the season.
WWU had one more shot in the contest, by
Roberto Duro Sanchez, but his shot went wide and the Owls were defeated, 3-0.
