About Central Baptist
The Mustangs (1-4-2, 1-3-1 AMC) enter the contest coming off a 5-0 loss to Park that took place on September 29th.  Austin Hickman, Mateo Johnson, Ade Oshikoya and Cory Ballew all recorded a shot in the contest.
 
Central Baptist is currently ranked 34th overall in the nation in shutouts per game (0.43). They are also ranked 46th overall in saves per game averaging 6.0 a night. Andrew Montoya is the only Mustang with national rankings. He holds the 23rd spot in the nation for saves per game averaging 6.3 a contest.
 
On the season, the Mustangs have been outscored 13-1. The Mustangs lone goal was scored by Josue Recinos. The Mustangs long goal came on September 15th when they scored against St. Louis College of Pharmacy. Opponents are outshooting the Mustangs 110-53 in the games.
 
Last Time Against the Mustangs
Last season the Owls defeated Central Baptist in a 3-0 shutout on September 23, 2017.  Stefan Simic led WWU with two goals in the match. Darren Wilson followed with a goal of his own. William Woods outshot the Mustangs 16-5 and 11-2 shots on goal.

The first time the Owls ran into the Mustangs was on October 28, 2015. William Woods walked away with a 3-1 victory. Since then, WWU has won every contest and hold a 3-0 series lead.

The Owls now 7-2-3 and 4-0-1 in the AMC enter the contest on a 10-game unbeaten streak. The last time WWU lost was their second game of the season when they loss to Culver-Stockton 5-1 on August 24th.  Since then, the Owls have gone, 7-0-3 on the season.
 
WWU is currently in the first place in the AMC with 13 points. The Owls have played one more match than Columbia College who has 12 points. Lindenwood-Belleville also has 12 points and are 4-1 on the season. William Woods has four national rankings this far. Darren Wilson is ranked 4th overall in total game winning goals with four on the season. He also ranks 5th overall in game winning goals per game (.44). He also holds the 42nd spot in game winning goals per game (.25).  Ben Faherty is currently ranked 46th overall in goals against per game (1). He has also tallied in 23 saves so far this season.
 
William Woods has had 21 players' record shots this for on the season, Out of those 21, nine of them have scored goals for the Owls. Nzojyibwami is leading goal scorers with seven on the season, while Wilson follows behind with five of his own.
 
Last Time Out
The last time the Owls took to the field was September 25th when they played Hannibal-LaGrange to a 2-2 double overtime draw. The Owls found themselves down late in the second half, before David Marshall scored with 28 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime.
 
Playing at Firley Field
This season the Owls have played four games at Firley Field and WWU is 3-1 on the season. WWU lost its first game of the season before rebounding to win its next three at home. Including Saturday's contest, the Owls have three games remaining to play at Firley Field.
 
What's Next
The Owls return to action on Saturday, October 13th when they travel to St. Louis, Mo. to face Harris-Stowe State University. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
