FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University men's soccer team hosts No. 3-seed Missouri Baptist University in the semifinal round of the American Midwest Conference Tournament Tuesday evening. Kick-off is set for 4:30 p.m. at Blue Jay Field on the campus of Westminster College in Fulton, Mo.
Admission is $6.00. William Woods game passes are not valid for postseason play.
AMC Tournament
The AMC Tournament went from eight teams to four after Saturday's quarterfinal round. The top four teams in the tournament came out on top.
No. 1-seed Columbia will host No. 4-seed Lyon at 6 p.m. Tuesday evening while the Owls are hosting MBU.
The two winners will face off in the championship on Friday, November 9. The highest seed remaining will play host.

Missouri Baptist University
MBU enter the contest with a 12-4-3 record. They placed third in conference with a 7-2-2 mark.
MBU has had five double-overtime games this season and have went 3-0-1 in their last four games.
The Spartans have just 26 goals on the season but have held their opponents to just 15 goals. Thirteen players have scored for the Spartans with Cullen Barr leading the way with seven.
The Spartans are 3-5-0 in AMC Tournament play and are making their second-straight semifinal appearance.

The Owls defeated MBU 1-0 in regular season play on September 11.
Billy Nzojyibwami scored the lone goal, and WWU outshot the Spartans 22-1.

William Woods is currently trailing the Spartans 8-14-2 in the all-time matchups. The first time these two teams met up was Oct. 18, 1997, where the Owls defeated the Spartans 2-1 in an overtime win.

The Owls enter the contest 13-3-3 overall and 9-1-1 in the AMC.
The Owls ae 5-8-1 all-time in AMC Tournament play and are making its first semifinal appearance since 2013.

Nathan Mason. Prior to the regular season finale, the Owls had not lost a game since August 24. The Owls have ten shutouts on the season, ranking them 10
th in the nation, and have outscored their opponents 44-17. In conference play, the Owls allowed just eight goals with six shutouts.

Three players were named AMC Player of the Week this season for the Owls with
Billy Nzojyibwami picking up two Offensive Player of the Weeks (week five, week 11).
Alberto Pitarch picked up AMC Defender of the Week in week four and
Tres Caroo picked up Offensive Player of the Week award in week nine.
