Men's Basketball Hosts Pharmacy on Senior Day

FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University men's basketball team host the Eutectics of St. Louis College of Pharmacy on Thursday, February 22 in an American Midwest Conference matchup. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. the Owls will also be recognizing their seniors prior to the contest.
 
About the Owls
-The Owls enter the contest with a 12-16 overall record and 9-11 in the AMC
- William Woods currently finds itself in seventh place in the AMC entering the final weekend
-WWU is currently on a four game losing streak, their last win against Freed Hardeman on February 2
-The Owls are 29th in the NAIA in free throw percentage shooting at a 71.2 percent. DaShaun Stark leads the Owls shooting 80.1 percent from the line
-Darrien Dickey ranks 17th in the nation in field goal percentage. He is shooting 57 percent from the field this season
-DaShaun Stark leads the Owls in scoring as he is averaging 16.54 points per game. Besides leading the Owls in scoring, Stark is also leading in rebounds (209), assists (73), and steals (36) for the season
- Brandon Vice is 49th in the NAIA in defensive rebounds per game averaging 5.12. Vice is also leading the Owls in blocks, with 14 in the season
- The Owls are averaging 70.0 points per game this season and are shooting 43.3 percent from the floor
- Opponents are averaging 72.3 points per game and are shooting 43.3 percent against the Owls
 
About the Eutectics
- Saint Louis College of Pharmacy enters the contest with a record of 0-25 and are 0-21 in the AMC
- STLCOP is coming off an 89-66 loss to Freed-Hardeman University on February 17th
-The Eutectics are 47th in the NAIA in three point field goals made per game, averaging 7.96 made per game
-Jordan Anderson is ranked 13th in the nation in points per game and is averaging 20.8 points per game and is shooting at 52.3 percent
- Anderson also leads the Eutectics in blocks, averaging 1.32 per game and collected 33 in the season, 28th best in the NAIA
-The Eutectics have two others scoring in double figures this season. Ilias Kalogeropoulus is averaging 13 points per game and Anthony Vallejo is averaging 10.8 points per game
- As a team, the Eutectics are averaging 64.2 points per game. They are shooting 39.1 percent on the season
