ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The William Woods University men's soccer team clinched the final spot in the American Midwest Conference Tournament with Tuesday's 6-1 win at St. Louis College of Pharmacy. The win, combined with Freed-Hardeman University's loss, secured the Owls in eighth place in the conference with a 4-6 record. 
 
The Owls play their final regular season game in front of their home crowd on Saturday, Nov. 2. Senior day will begin at 1:20 p.m. with the first touch slated for 1:30 p.m.

2 – Roberto Duro Sanchez scored two goals in the contest. Jagan Crane assisted two of the team's six goals.

The Owls finally evened the score in the 33^rd minute as Jagan Crane found Robert Duro Sanchez for his first goal. The Owls took a 2-1 lead in the 39^th minute as Franco Cambruzzi found the back of the net off Crane's second assist of the game. 
 
Alberto Pitarch connected on the Owls third goal, giving them a 3-1 lead heading into halftime.
 
Billy Nzojyibwami connected with the goal in the 52^nd minute from Darren Wilson, and Duro Sanchez scored his second of the game in the 62^nd minute. 
 
Barnaby Sargent scored the sixth and final goal for the Owls in the 87^th minute, giving the Owls a 6-1 win.
 
Iker Gonzalez played 65 minutes in goal and made one stop. Ben Faherty played 25 minutes in goal.
