Men's Soccer Captures 5-1 Win over Freed-Hardeman

FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods men's soccer team picked up their first conference win of the season against Freed-Hardeman Saturday afternoon, 5-1. The Owls are 3-7 on the season and 1-3 in AMC action.
 
What's Next?
The Owls will face Park University in Parkville, Mo. on October 8. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m.
 
Game Flow
Owls' goalkeeper, Iker Gonzalez started the match off with a save with 43 minutes on the clock.
 
The Lions recorded their first and only goal of the match, kicked by Jack O'Riordan and assisted by Daniel Peinado at the 32 minute mark.
 
The Owls took two shots with 30 minutes remaining in the first half, but both were denied by Lions' goalie, Calum Langdale.
 
Kyle Stead gave the Owls their first goal of the match with 23 minutes to go, 1-1.

Nzojyibwami recorded his third and final goal of the contest, assisted by Henrique Tsugiyama, 5-1.
