Game Flow
Culver-Stockton opened the contest by getting out to an early 7-2 lead over the Owls. WWU finally got things rolling on back-to-back fastbreak baskets coming from Gause, putting them behind one of the Wildcats.

Moments after the Gause buckets, D'Aaron Owens knocked down a huge three-pointer giving the WWU a 9-7 advantage.

Culver-Stockton quickly responded to the William Woods run by tying the game on a Mason Vires basket.

After going point-for-point for the majority of the first half, the Wildcats were finally able to gain a 26-22 lead, but it was short lived as two quick WWU buckets tied the game back up 26-26.

Both teams continued trading baskets until two Makenzie Fessler free throws pushed the Owls ahead 36-32.

In the final seconds of the half, Vires was able to score a basket in the paint. CSC remained behind 36-34 going into halftime.

The Owls returned from halftime an entirely different team. Three minutes into the second half, they were able to extend their lead to 10.

Culver-Stockton's Kevin King was able to put the Wildcats within nine, but it would not be enough to slow WWU down as they pushed their lead out to 17 with 12 minutes remaining in the half.

As William Woods increased their lead, Nett began to heat up. He scored 17 second half points and knocked down five three-pointers.

Culver-Stockton continued to battle but the Owls did not take their foot of the gas.

With 4:20 remaining in the game, Nett knocked down his fifth three-pointer to push the Owls lead to 77-49.

William Woods closed the game with a Jake Frederick free throw, giving them a 30-point lead. The Owls went on to win it 82-52.
