Box Score BATESVILLE, Ar. - The William Woods University men's soccer team fell to Lyon College this afternoon, 3-1. The loss drops the Owls to 2-9 on the season and 0-4 in AMC play.

With the clock hitting the 53rd minute mark, Lyon scored a goal to grab the lead, 1-0.
 
Lubos Polacko scored an unassisted goal in the 75^th minute to tie the game, 1-1.

Lyon scored two more goals at the end of the second period to pick up a  3-1 win.
 
Iker Gonzalez played 90 minutes in between the posts and recorded five saves.
 
Lyon outshot the Owls, 15-2.

Next for the Owls is another conference game vs. Central Baptist at home on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 1:30 p.m.
