Owls Sweep HLGU

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University volleyball team hosted Hannibal-LaGrange University for two matches Thursday evening. The first match served as a conference match while the second was played as non-conference.

The Owls swept HLGU in straight sets, moving to 8-3 overall with a 7-1 conference record.

The team closes out their regular season with two matches versus University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy on Saturday, April 3. The first match, counting towards conference, begins at 5 p.m.

9 - Hannah Kuehl hit .500 with nine kills. Tori Rosemann dug up nine attacks.

A 5-0 run early in the first set gave the Owls a boost to lead throughout the first set.

Hannah Kuehl put down three consecutive kills in set two, helping the Owls to a four-point lead midway through the set.

The Owls closed out the match with a 5-0 run in set three with two kills from Kylie Zamboni-Cutter, a kill from Kassidy Phillips and an ace from Tori Rosemann.
