SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The no. 11 William Woods University women's tennis team dropped its second straight match in a 6-1 setback against NCAA Division 2 opponent Drury University on Sunday afternoon. The loss moves the Owls to 10-5 on the season.
 
The Owls were unable to take the doubles point, losing all three doubles. In singles, Zlata Shuraeva was the only one that was able to grab a win at no. 1 singles. DU won all the remaining singles matches at no. 2, no. 3, no. 4, no. 5, and no. 6.
 
The no. 11 Owls will close their regular season tomorrow on Apr. 19, at home against Ottawa University. First serve is set to begin at 11 a.m.
