FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University men's soccer team suffered a loss to Graceland University 3-1 this evening. The loss moves the Owls to 0-3 on the season.

With less than five minutes remaining in the first period, Graceland scored twice grabbing the lead, 2-0.

The Owls were unable to find the end of the net in the first period.

With the clock hitting the 70th min mark, Michael Bhat scored for the Owls cutting the deficit to 2-1.

GU scored the last goal of the game in the 80^th minute expanding their lead to 3-1.The Owls were unable to find the back of the net again in the remaining time.

GU outshot the Owls, 25-6.

Ben Faherty recorded 15 saves in his 90 minutes in between the posts.

The Owls return to action Saturday, September 4, 2:30 p.m. against Ottawa University at home.
